Technicolor hits a milestone with 'Charlie'


Technicolor says that the international release of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' marks the 100th movie it has distributed digitally.

    "With the global introduction of the digital version of the film, Technicolor Digital Cinema has now managed over 285,000 digital cinema screenings worldwide to date for eight studios, more than any other provider in the marketplace today," according to the release carried by DCinemaToday.com.

Technicolor says it has now handled 285,000 digital cinema screenings worldwide, working with eight different studios.
